Magnificent City Winnipeg

The Amar Bangla was established in Winnipeg, in the Canadian province of Manitoba, on October 11, 2021. Winnipeg, a city with an enchanting combination of historical charm and contemporary vitality, typify Canada's captivating diversity. The Forks, a historic gathering place, and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, an architectural marvel, are only two of the numerous Winnipeg landmarks that tell tales of the city's rich history and ongoing development.

Land Acknowledgement Treaty

The Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline, and Nehethowuk Nations have ancestral lands in what is now Manitoba, and our Amar Bangla acknowledges this. We are cognizant of the fact that the Red River Métis people call Manitoba home. Additionally, we recognize that the Inuit people's ancestral territory includes portions of northern Manitoba. Truth, reconciliation, and alliance are the real principles of ongoing collaboration with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people. Treaties and treaty-making are also respected for their spirit and objectives.
